Our barndominium design fees are primarily based on the square footage and scope of the project.

  • Up to 4,000 sq ft - $1.00 per sq ft
  • 4,100–5,500 sq ft - $1.25 per sq ft
  • Over 5,500 sq ft or Complex Designs - Contact us for project-specific pricing.
• Garages, Shops & Unfinished Areas
  • $0.50 per sq ft
  • This rate applies to garages, shops, workshops, equipment storage, and other unfinished areas incorporated into the barndominium design.
• Finished living areas are calculated using the applicable heated and cooled living-space rate.
• Minimum Project Investment
  • Barndominium design projects have a $1,800 minimum project investment.

One of the most valuable parts of our design process is being able to see your barndominium before construction begins.

Our 3D visualization allows you to explore the exterior architecture as well as important interior spaces, ceiling heights, windows, materials, porches, shops, and other features.

This is especially useful with barndominiums because large open spaces can be difficult to understand from a two-dimensional floor plan alone.

Seeing the home in 3D allows you to make important design decisions during the planning stage—before those decisions become expensive changes during construction.
